Glistening Water other wise call luminous Lagoon is located 20-30 from Montego Bay and 3-5 drive from Falmouth Town going toward Ocho Rios on thenorth side of Jamaica. This Lagoon is surround by mangroves, is home to microscopic organisms that emit a phosphorescent light when agitated. The water glows and becomes luminous when these organisms are disturbed. Try to dip your hand or foot in the water. You will see the water light up around you. You can also see the fish swim around and blue light surround them. Once the boat is far out enough, you may get the option to swim. It is remarkable to see people in the water light up. If you choose to swim, once you get out of the water you will see your swimsuit and body light up as you move around.
